FIRST AID for BIRDS
Emergency Nutrition for Sick or
Orphaned Birds
First
Aid for Birds provides sick, injured and orphaned birds with a highly
digestible source of essential amino acids, essential fatty acids,
vitamins and minerals.
Ingredients : Albumen, hydrolysed casein,
maltodextrins, glucose, vegetable oils, EPA, DHA, vitamins and minerals.
DIRECTIONS
An instant energy, high protein
boost for all sick birds. Invaluable for orphaned or injured wild birds
when first coming into care.
Ensure that sick or injured birds are kept in a quiet
and warm environment.

Mix 2 heaped teaspoons of First Aid for Birds
with 10mL of pre-boiled water heated to about 50°C. |

Do not use immediately. Allow mixture to stand for
2 minutes to absorb all the water. |

If too thick, reheat and add a little more water. |

Feed First Aid for Birds at 35°C using a
spoon or syringe. |

Take care not to introduce food into the windpipe. |
| 6. |
Prepare First Aid for Birds fresh each time
and feed until the bird recovers enough to eat its normal food. |
